# I received notifications that were not intended for me (SMS/e-mail)

You have received an e-mail and/or a SMS appointment reminder that does not concern you. There may be several possible explanations:

### **You have an OneDoc account and the appointment appears in the “[My appointments](https://www.onedoc.ch/en/appointments) ” section**

**If you are already a patient of the healthcare professional concerned**, this probably means that their practice must have made a mistake in choosing a patient when they registered this appointment. We therefore invite you to contact the practice by phone to indicate that there has been a mistake (and cancel the appointment from your account).

**If you do not know the healthcare professional concerned**, you may have left your account open on a device (computer, tablet, smartphone) that other people have access to: the appointment may have been inadvertently made on your account. Please remember to [sign out of you OneDoc account](/en/sign-out-of-my-onedoc-account) in this case.

### **You have an OneDoc and the appointment does not appear in the “My appointments” section**

**If you are already a patient of the healthcare professional concerned**, their practice must have made a mistake in choosing the patient record when they registered this appointment. We invite you to contact the practice by phone to indicate that here has been a mistake (and cancel the appointment from your account).

**If you do not know the healthcare professional concerned**, his secretary probably made a mistake when entering the telephone number/e-mail address of the patient scheduled for this appointment. We invite you to contact the practice by phone to indicate that there has been a mistake and ask them to delete your phone number/e-mail address from the patient file in which the details are entered.
